God has given Rio Grande Bible Institute a specific ministry to accomplish: to serve the Hispanic church by equipping leaders. Our primary method of reaching this goal is two-fold: a Bible institute program in Spanish for Spanish-speakers and a Spanish language program for missionaries preparing to serve in Spanish-speaking areas. We endeavor to occupy our time fulfilling the primary objective rather than preoccupying ourselves with other things. Other ministries may be very valid ministries, but God has called us to this one in particular. We know our purpose very clearly. The question we ask ourselves is, ‘How do we know when we are accomplishing our objective?’ We will know when we have achieved our goal of training leaders by looking at those who graduate from the institute.
