Seminario Bíblico Río Grande is accredited by the “Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation” to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate, Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.

ACCREDITATION

Since February 1999, the Rio Grande Bible College (Rio Grande Bible Institute) has been formally accredited. The authorization to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate, Baccalaureate, and Master’s levels is given by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808), an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. The authorization to function in Texas is overseen by the Texas Workforce Commission.

Being accredited by the ABHE means that the institution complies with the norms of quality and integrity accepted in the world of higher education that have been approved by a group of similar institutions, since the accrediting association is made up of leaders from other Bible seminaries. This means that students can transfer their credits to many American Bible colleges, Christian liberal arts colleges, and similar secular universities. The college is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the National Association for Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), the American Council on Education (ACE), and National Council of State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).

Rio Grande Bible Ministries is also a member of the following agencies: Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), Christian Stewardship Association, the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC), and the Independent Fundamental Churches of America (IFCA).
