The students who are part of Seminario Biblico Rio Grande will be part of an institution where they will be able to develop their spiritual life in different practical areas, promoting the link between different cultures, customs and even languages that enrich the student.
We consider social life as one of the foundations for the development of Christian character and the formation of leaders, missionaries and committed Christians, carrying forward the principles and values of faith in Christ.
PRACTICAL MINISTRY
Seminar students are assigned to a local church where they have the opportunity to attend, serve and support on a weekly basis, where they will be allowed to develop and acquire ministerial skills, under the supervision and support of the pastor or person in charge of said congregation.
Among the areas in which students can get involved are the following:
Preaching
Music Ministry
Sunday School
Children’s Ministry
Youth Ministry
Evangelism
PRACTICAL SUMMER
Students may travel anywhere within or outside the United States. This requirement is only for those in the 4-year program. For eight weeks the student will serve in some church under the supervision of a pastor or leader, with a well-defined work program, in order to develop what they have learned in the classroom.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WORK PROGRAM
The student must fill out the employment sheet to provide information about their experience in previous jobs, in order to be able to place them in the area in which they can perform better.
Likewise, each semester the student will have the opportunity to request the work program.
Work will be assigned for the first semester and student performance will be evaluated. If the result is not positive, the student will not be able to participate in the work program the following semester.
