The holiness of God, like all His attributes, must be given its proper place with the other attributes, and God must define it since He is the one who perfectly knows Himself (Mt 11:27).

Placing saving faith in a faithful God means we can safely hang our soul’s eternal destiny on Him. As Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ can be depended on to be faithful like a peg that holds pictures, home décor, coats, firmly up. Faith in the Faithful One means to entrust eternal destiny upon the Faithful One. He will not let us fall to the ground or break.

Through the lives of those in the Bible and the teachings found within, we learn about who our God is and what we can expect from Him in different circumstances, and we can know what He is like because He has chosen to reveal Himself in the pages of His Word.
